As usual, not much of a Sunday left after waking up from a comatose. Like seriously... what the fuck? Is this called quality of life? I'm getting quite edgy and more impatient with each passing week. I only pretend I'm ok, but I'm not. Really. It's a matter of time before I drop the masquerade. Anyway... I woke up with this tune running around my head. Someone should make a ruling that people with no sense of rhythm should steer clear of the dancefloor. No offence but it's hard not to cry out in laughing fit when you have two people with two left feet each; trying to keep up with the tempo of the music and with their bodies in spasms. Secondly, what's the point being of coming to a club and then asking if the music can be turned down because you can't hear your friends chatting? Some people are just so hilariously contridicting without them actually knowing how fucking stupid they sound! No offence but yah, but no, but yah, but no... WTF?
As for the night, as expected. Nothing much to talk about besides the free public comedians. Nice weather. Probably spend the entire Sunday sleeping... as fucking usual. Getting damn sick of routines. Need a good proper gig to get back that drive and inspiration. Whatfuckever!
Welcome onboard, one of my long-time mates Lunus, who played at several Progressions a while back. He will be fronting the decks at eM By The River every Saturday from 10pm with his selection of Bar Sounds together with saxophonist Marc Anthony. Another beer, guys? On Fridays, we have DJ Robbie pairing up with Cuban musicians Enrique (synths) and Lorraine (flute). It's all good thus far. Musically engaging, personally for me, that is.
And to answer the question that was raised during a brief discussion over beer... "Why Norah Jones don't know why she didn't come and she feels as empty as a drum?"
Coz either she's too loose or whoever she's with has a small pecker. Hahaha! I know, lame. It's Sunday and I'm fucking tired. So sue me!

First of all... WHAT THE FUCK?!!
7am on a fucking Sunday, some bloody primary school conducts their Sports Days at the nearby stadium... AGAIN! You've got to be fucking kidding me! Seriously, the point being? Yeah so what if you're the fastest runner? So bloody what? Yah, GREEN HOUSE is the champion house this year. So? Not that it's ever going to amount to anything when all you fuckwads grow up. And what's the deal with using a starter gun in races anyway? Someday, due to some faulty ammunition, I hope some idiot gets his hand blown off.
Managed to finally to get sleep around noon after taking some flu tablets (runny nose and fever). Thanks a lot, you inconsiderate muthafucking civil servants! I'm so beat and on my only rest day of the week, you just had to do your fucking insignificant Sports Day... which to me is equally redundant as the yearly nothing-much-different National Day Parade and Chingay Procession.
Ended waking up in the late evening around 8pm. Again, there goes my off-day. I was supposed to attend the wedding reception of a colleague. Completely slept through the alarm clock as well as 8 missed calls. With not much time for leisure each week, it's beginning to get on my nerves. Then again, I should just shut the fuck up. Afterall, I chose this industry to be in. C'est fucking La Vie!

If our local crowd on Friday can have the CLASS, DIGNITY and WILLINGNESS to chalk up liquor bottle as well as loose drink sales, why can't you so-called imported talents as well? Oh, I forgot... you're poor.
Control your fucking hormones and kindly please stop fucking, kissing, petting or blowjobbing in the toilets. Get a fucking room! Wait... I remembered... you're a cheapo.
Personally, I'm glad that the party's novelty is finally wearing thin... as I expected months ago. Anyway, I don't care much if any of "them" happen to read this. They can be offended for all I care. Dazed Out!
Nice one last night. On behalf of the DJs Benjamin and Fred-E, thank you to each and everyone of you for the valuable support and for cheering us on whenever a familiar tune comes on. It was also great to see to the many familiar faces that I've not seen for a goddamn long while as well as the new ones who came up to say "hi".
But what was most pleasant for me was that some punters actually identified the "newer" and less staple-sounding tunes like;

Personally, these three alongside a handful of current releases in the genre stands out amongst the basket of stale bread. Technicalities aside, we all had fun one way or the other and it felt like home once again. Till the next one in August...

Burnt fingerz!
If you see me in a crumpled shirt today or any other day for that matter, please don't ask why. I hate ironing! It's so bloody frustrating and it's really a stupid task! Tried ironing a shirt today and I ended up scalding my fingers. Hold one end to iron, the other side end up being creased again. It's like a never ending task. I swear God, besides making us fart, created the chore of ironing for His own personal entertainment.
I wish I got a "maria" to do all these irritating chores for me! Hahaha!

I'm sure everyone gets it every now and then, when you just have that nagging feeling that your life is in an endless loop of monotony. Today is one of those bloody days. Different day, same shit. Viciously pointless to a certain extent. Then again, I shouldn't fret. I guess it happens to EVERYONE one point or the other. Not once but many times at quite regular frequencies. So what shall I do today? I know, I'll sit by the river... again! Hahaha!
