Narrow Stairs (Warner Music)
When Death Cab for Cutie signed to Atlantic Records a few years back, many people expected them to sell out. However their transition was proof that a major record deal doesn't alway signal the end of an indie band's better days.
The uninitiated may never be sold on such a band but for those who know, this 6th studio album is a subtle return to form and perhaps their most daring and adventurous effort to date... without any drastic reinventions. It's not groundbreaking as their last album but still a great listen nonetheless.

"You gotta spend some time love,
you gotta spend some time with me."
you gotta spend some time with me."
