The gospel of proper music...

What I sold out today... or how I'm killing R&B as well as manufactured pop sales by brainwashing customers into buying PROPER and DECENT "mainstream" music...

Jason Mraz’s first set of all-new material in nearly three years, sees himz continuing to tread his own distinctive artistic path, melding a variegated musical tapestry with passionate, personal lyricism. Among the highlights are collaborations with British tunesmith James Morrison and singer/ songwriter Colbie Caillat. The feelgood "I’m Yours", the album’s first single, was chosen due to the undeniable fan response to the song.

And it's a surefire winner whenever I play it to any curious customer when they ask me... "good or not?"

I own a copy myself so that's testament enough and it's been my "listen-while-going-to-work" music for the past two days. And yes, I'm beginning to appreciate the sun and going back to "normal" life.

The other that has received sold-out status (at the outlet I'm current stationed in), is the half Irish/Japanese singer/songwriter Marié Digby who caused a stir in cyberspace and the media with a series of highly successful music video performances on YouTube. Combining her own material and her own unique take on songs written by other artists, Marié has built a devoted following of fans all over the world with 15 million (and counting) views of her clips.

And how I know what to recommend? Well, I spend a lot of time on the internet doing a lot of research and I don't just listen to electronic music only. In fact, these two artistes are sustaining my interest in music. If not for them, I'll be so sick of it...

How? Nice, right? I mean the music. Doh!

Yeah... Saturday OFF! 5-day-week... so nice to have my life back... with the rest of the people!
