In the Xmas Mood?

When Band Aid's "Do They Know It's Christmas" charity single came out on 1984, it was a defining moment for the Brit Pop industry who came in aid of the Ethopian famine. Have fun watching this. Don't you just love the BIG HAIRS? Some of the performers are still around today... U2 Bono, George "Princess Diana" Michael, Duran Duran... that's about it. My fave, despite their crappy music, was Bananarama. They were HOT then. They should be grandmothers by now.

Still in the mood for really embarrassing 80s moments? Enjoy this one, which was so appropriate because I was back then in secondary school when some bitch dumped me. I'm kidding. Here's another wussy classic from Wham that led the world to think that they were 100% heterosexuals. Have yourself a Merry Xmas... not that it makes much sense in today's context but I've to admit that it certainly felt nice to have bought something sweet from Dorothy Perkins for someone today.
