Fuckwits really rule the world, don't they?

"Beautiful" people. Free drinks. Same old tune week in and out. Supposedly to create client loyalty. Novelty wearing thin. Everyone's doing it now. Pardon my ignorance but seriously... the point being when it's not really progressing or showing any adverse returns? Why not-so-good turn-out? Sander van Doorn was in town for the very first time after much anticipation. Don't ask WHO? Google it. The thing is that the novelty angle is down to 10 g/m2 thin. Thus the age-old saying, "never put your eggs in one basket". But usually, people forget this golden rule.

And our nice looking bar downstairs has officially been converted to a neighbourhood coffeeshop with the arrival of old "ah bengs" and "chinese helicopters" that play drinking dice / finger guessing games, speak very loudly and swear Hokkien vulgarities like their life depended on it. They make the trio of helium-sucking girls sound sedated. So much for trying to be posh and trying to play "upmarket bar music". Sure they spend money but at the same time jeopardizing the concept and purpose? How to market such an image when we have media people around to witness such an UGLY environment? You tell me. Paula Abdul said once before, "you take one step forward, two steps back."

"Kan ni nah. Bladda, why you say ah beng?
We also human ok? You cut us, we also breed leh.
You very high grass meh? My pattern very lose face meh?
Don't talk so much lah. Lai ah, lim ah!"

Oh, and drunks shouldn't be put in-charged of anything. In fact, they shouldn't even be talking. Whatever happened to "lead by example"? Totalitarianism and iron-fist ruling... not applicable anymore. Sure, don't teach your father how to fuck. But that's so passe when we're in the nu-skool generation whereby the son would tell the father to "go fuck yourself!"

"Oei!"

Nuff said. No point getting cheesed off. None of my concern, really. Not worth the increase in blood pressure. Friday was good but could have been better. Then again... there isn't really a secret formula. Just a matter of listening, observing and catering to consumer's expectations, and not be mercenary. Anyway, it's better to just not say anything, except maybe... There Are No Right Angles In Nature.

In the meantime, my fave "emo" tune for Sunday (if there is anything left of it after I recover for the entire week of tiredness...)
