"Hey, Yukun. Do you still play any Goa / Psy-Trance?"
For record, please don't associate PSY TRANCE as "Trance". It's a pale comparison to begin with. After a brief spark, thanks to Paul Oakenfold, it died in the mid-90s upon the arrival of a more forward-thinking genre called "Epic House".
The fact that it DIED, is one reason why I stopped playing it in around 1995. I don't wish to be classified as a "retro" DJ, do I? Of course there are still some die-hards but in all honesty, it's a pointless genre that's conveniently made for the 90's hipppie / hallucination drug / acid generation. Thus explains why almost EVERY psy-trance track sound exactly the same without any progression or variation.
