Cheap but any good?
DICK-IN-CHARGE : "Times are bad, we've began cut-cost measures and have retrenched both the high salaried ones as well as those with low posts."
ME : "As so how is that coming along then?"
DICK-IN- CHARGE : "So-so, still finding it hard to meet quotas and drive people into the club and bars."
ME : "And what about the resident DJs? I understand you're letting go the seasoned ones."
DICK-IN-CHARGE : "Yeah, with their pay, I can hire more new ones who are not asking for much money."
ME : "And that helps?"
DICK-IN-CHARGE : "Not really at the moment because the punters don't know these new DJs. But we intend to spend some money to market them."
ME : "Erm... if the seasoned ones have a ready-made following, you won't be wasting money trying to market the noobs."
DICK-IN-CHARGE : "Hmm, quite true, I didn't think of that!"
Didn't think of that! Can you imagine? Making executive decisions without weighing all the variable factors. Makes you wonder why such short-sighted dicks are hired to run businesses in the first place. I wonder how many cocks they had to suck to get to where they are. And so the story goes... di-da-di-di-da-di...
