Some things are meant to be, some are not. Not every person that can string a bunch of tunes together is a DJ, especially when one cannot grasp the entire concept of balancing club culture / business. Thus the existence of desperate "DJs" who are either has-beens or in most cases, NEVER-BEENS... offering their services for free in hope to expand their resume. Good luck with that...

Just because one has some basic flairing skills does not make one a flair bartender either. And so the story goes for any other "vocations".

On the other hand, 2009's off to a good start for some of us. We've gain a firmer stronghold of the industry and will be reaping more fruits in the upcoming months. How to achieve? Dunno... just lucky, I guess. :p
