I wish all doctors, when they speak, to have more emotions in their voices. We received a call from the Professor who operated on my dad this morning at 7.30pm. His voice was deadpanned and he paused after every 3 words. Can you imagine the anxiety that gave us? It's like listening to the singing of Neil Tennant from the Pet Shop Boys... your emotions just gets confused.
Anyway, I'd like to share the good news that my dad has woken up and has already been given breakfast. The medical team says that he's up earlier than expected and that most cases, the patient only starts eating the 2nd day of being in ICU.
I'd heading back to the hospital now... :)
Thank all of you for your messages of encouragement, well wishes and prayers!
