Hello? You stupid or what?

Phone text dialogue from this afternoon...

Person : Hi Yukun. We've been to many of your parties and would like to book you for a private pool party.

Me : Sure. What's the date and your budget?

Person : Date is yet to be confirmed. Budget around $100. Can you also play some R&B and retro?

Me : $100? R&B and retro? Are you sure you got the right person?

Person : Yes, you're Yukun, right? The trance DJ?

Me : May I suggest that you go to Sim Lim to buy $100 worth of CDRs and then DIY.

Person : DIY? Is he another DJ?

I didn't respond thereafter as clearly, I'm not only dealing with a fucking LIAR but also a clinically-certified retard that's pretty much as redundant as pubic hair.

In the meantime, I've managed to hunt down a piece of vinyl history from 1963, thanks to my uncle's evergreen / classic collection. And besides roots and jazz, nothing gets close to this in terms of sound authenticity. Going to make myself a nice cup of rich coffee and do exactly what the title says.
