Computers and such...
No offense to anyone but this real-life "incident" got me cracking up...
Recently a mate receive a job application letter and under the section "COMPUTER", the applicant stated that he is well-versed in Windows OS, Microsoft and "Serato Scratch"...

Sorry to burst anyone's bubble but Serato Scratch? In that case, I might as well amend my resume to include Logic, Pro-Tools, Cubase, Ableton, Wavelab, Reason; and I'll throw in PC strategy games and various gaming consoles. Let's not forget iTunes, iPod, Nero, MSN Messenger and any P2P programmes! Aren't we all such computer geeks when you actually think about it? Oh... note I didn't include Traktor for the simple fact that till this day, the industry still maintains that it's for little lazy boys / girls only who like to press the SYNC button and pretend that they're damn tight in the mixing department.

On the topic of job applications, I was once recruiting a marketing executive back when I was in the music recording industry. I think some people don't know what a resume is and how much deciding factor it has in opening doors. Some of the photos that came with the applications, left very little to your imagination. Some look like an open autopsy. What were they thinking? I wasn't casting for The Addams Family, you know? Talk about surrounded by idiots and morons...
On a side note, I've tried doing this with the recent club-turned-to-lounge venue. Didn't go through on their end but nonetheless, things are looking up and fans will soon see him back to our shores in a "superclub" to launch his brand new mix CD... time to party like rockstars again :p
