The week recollected... and updates
And if it terrifies you,
Then it terrifies me,
Cause I will be there,
So we've got each other in the dark.
Then it terrifies me,
Cause I will be there,
So we've got each other in the dark.
Progressions Asia would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the multitudes, friends and die-hards for making the 8th Feb (Fri) such a massive party... till 5 in the morning at Ministry Of Sound. It was awesome night to say the least. Thank you for constantly re-affirming our faith!
Personally, I was exhausted by the end of the night. It was unforgettable from start till end. Nothing beats the euphoria vibe of a big room and the entire floor responding in unity... nothing quite explains the institution the brand night as become either. All in all, I had a great time with all of you. It was downright fulfilling to be a part of a movement that others still struggle to comprehend. The night had all the elements in place... and it was almost PERFECT.

Nice classic tracks on the decks on Thursday man! Cheers to that! And thanks for your Lunar Megamix CD, it was awesome listening to it in the car on the way home right after a great night of Progressions! And a happy new year to you too! - Gabe Yip
Was my first time at your gig yesterday but I was truly impressed with the music presented. Hope to hear from you guys soon. ;) - Fergus Liu
Great stuff at Progressions yesterday at MOS. Was there while you were hitting it. Keep that mean, and obnoxiously addictive vibe alive :) - Kelvin Tan
The music, the graphic visuals, the lights
and the people coming together as one!
The CO2 spray always gets them wild!
Ha! Video evidence of a certain Tony Cheung (right corner)
... making a complete ape out of himself!
All in good fun :)
And the STUPID CUNT OF THE MONTH award goes to some twat that came to a Trance club night and then proceeded to request for Daft Punk. Firstly, requesting of tunes are fucking irritating. And secondly, nothing against Daft Punk but... what the fuck?
Beside the above, the rest of the week was just basically best forgotten. Having to work during such so-called big "festive" period is somewhat a completely pointless task. The week was dreadfully long and redundant... and it's even sadder when the only other thing worth mentioning about the past week is that some celebrity ape at the local zoo died.
I seriously need to take a long break away from it all (besides flying off for the Indonesia gigs) in March. Well, at least to disappear for 5 - 7 days to some remote place, and most importantly, to re-access some issues at hand. Being a piece of driftwood has it's meaningless downside... :(
Have also activated the other agents in other countries... hopefully things go according to plan and I'll be out of the country every month. Otherwise, if things keep going on the way I predict it's going (i.e. limbo), I'll end up like the dead monkey... DULL!
