Coming soon to the show... Žagar

Žagar was formed in 2001. The band's named after Balazs Zsager, founder of the band, author of all songs, pianist, who graduated at the jazz faculty of the Hungarian College of Music. The above song "Wings Of Love" features six excellent Hungarian vocalists, all members or former members of underground music bands.

Turntablism, alternative rock, electronica, moogs, downbeat, string arrangements, positive vibes, uplifting chorus... afterhours music just got much more organic and interesting! I just received the album promo this week and it's been an absolutely engaging! It's so good that it's almost POP but in a credible sense. The last time I got so hooked on any album was Yonderboi's recent album. Screw all those standard "chillout" ambient shit. Those are so last century.

p/s Don't ask me how I am... the lethargy of being in a same-old-shit-week-in-week-out-snail-pace routine is getting to me big time. Nothing really to anticipate or to fuel the "fire". Feeling really down and out... and my pee smells of Corona! On the brighter side, I've finally completed 3 weeks of Lush 99.5 FM shows (plus a mix show) in view of me not being around during the last week of the month (army reservist training). Either than that, it's a matter of time before everything else goes belly-up!
