On site "live" report
Late walk-in. Started with one guy and three girls playing finger guessing games (hoo-hum!) as minutes pass more additions as their friends appear streaming in.
Some started grooving on the floor. Girl walks up to me and ask for "house music". Errr... I'm playing Latin House. Nevermind... throw in some familiar tunes like the bootie of Doobie Brother's "Long Train Running" and Wawa kickass remix of Noir's "MTV".
Hand over the last hour to Razaq who continues teasing with even more staple tunes like Eric Prydz's "Proper Education". Same girl walks up and ask for "Paul van Dyk".
Our collective reply... "hmmmph, that's not House."
OWNED!!!!
Drunk dude interupts, "screw Trance lah, House all the way."
Several moments later, Razaq "shows hands" and drops the new mix of "Higher State Of Concsiousness". Drunk dude comes up and finally admits to us that he's drunk. We know... :p
As this entry is being typed, speakers as booming the likes of Plump DJs and some twisted breaks :)
What started out as a slow quiet night ended to be quite a laugh.
My back is aching, my feet are sore... but it's okay. It's all about House Music :D
And I'm still disappointed that tomorrow is not Sunday!

its funny looking at their faces when the Technotronic track came out.... last time I saw that kind of expression was when my RSM 'defaulters' parade!
its gonna be another lonely sunday....
brain not working again .... typo everywhere.. (it hasn't work for awhile - burned)
Give it another few months... then "Get Up" become staple 'must-play'. As usual... singapore... :p
