There's no stoppin' us...

Ah... I'm a happy camper for the weekend. What a find I managed to dig! Code One import for under $5! Great memories from my secondary school days... when we cut classes just to catch this movie in the cinema. Not once but several times! It's not exactly a groundbreaking flick but it was certainly a great way to introduce the lighter side of Hip Hop culture. From the moves (body poppin') to the choreography, from the music (Kraftwerk, Art Of Noise and Ice-T!) to the lingo, and to certain extent... even the tacky fashion. Man, my "crew" and me worshipped this movie... until Beat Street came along and made this a comedy.

"You're wack, man... fool!"

Most importantly... it's the only chance you get to catch Jean-Claude Van Damme in his most embarrassing moment. He's made some pretty bad movies but this? Jesus, what was he thinking? Street dancer he ain't for sure...
