But seriously... tickets going at $600, $500, $200... hello concert promoter, for $600 and can get a fucking flight to Australia and catch a 3-day music festival for under A$100! Ridiculous! But that's not as cock as Ken Lim asking for support from ALL SINGAPOREANS for Hady Mirza in the upcoming Asian Idol contest. Funny thing is that Ken, being the manager of this "talent", acknowledges that the so-called winner of Singapore Idol is not getting much enthusiastic fan base as he should be. Want to know why? Perhaps because he comes across as a "yaya-papaya-boy-from-next-door". You know, the sort that's pretty brash but always gets his arse kicked around in the schoolyard. Or could it be perhaps that's he's not really as talented as the judges thought he was? Oh, I don't know. Maybe he has as much charisma as a bar of soap? Ken, you should know why... so stop asking for the impossible dream!
An idol is someone that others aspire to be. I for one certainly don't want to be like a cockster. I'd rather DO THE RIGHT THING, be Russell Peters and BE A MAN!

For the sake of argument, I do not possess any patriotism. Never had, never will be. So spare me your pseudo love-your-country-crap or that "stand up for Singapore" nonsense. I gave up TWO years of my life and several broken bones for this country. Nuff said!
