A shade of being shameless?
Don't mean to bitch but some people of "these people" are just shameless GRADE A blatant freeloaders. Some of these chaps have actually approached me at the DJ booth and asked if I can get them some free drinks as well. When I said I can't, their innocent reply is usually, "But when ****** was around, he scores us drinks!"
As heard at the door at the club a few weeks backs...
"Where's ******?", a non-local punter asked.
Our door host promptly replies, "he's left the company."
Turning to his friends, punter responded as such : "What? Oh man! There goes our free drinks!"
Chimp sez "wah lau eh!!!"
Well sunshine, I ain't ******. And the club is not a charitable organization either. To put it blatantly, this is how it works. We bloody need your freaking money so that we get paid our salary. I don't work for free. Neither does any of the club staff. Get it? Stop coming up to me every fucking Saturday and asking me to get you free drinks! Spending a bit of your hard-earned cash once in a while won't hurt.
It's not that I don't respect all these "foreign talents" but the way the majority of them carry themselves is just downright embarrassing. These are the "fair-weathered" people that I was referring to in an earlier post. No loyalty... just out to milk you dry! So much for being "BEAUTIFUL" people. The blind man at the nearby MRT station (that plays an acoustic guitar) has more pride than any of these cheapskates.
So there! I really needed to get that off my chest! On the brighter side, it's Sunday tomorrow and I'll probably spend the entire fucking day sleeping and recovering for the past six days and then back to work on Monday. So fucking meaningful! I fear that a burn-out is within grasping distance if I go on like that without any decent time for my private life. Guess I've to deal with it when that comes. No wonder I'm in such a foul mood as of late...
