Updates For The Week

Lush 99.5 FM Private Reserve with Yukun, this Wednesday 21st March with show 48 @ 8.00pm (GMT +8). This week, a feature track from the new Boards Of Canada album, a rare remix of Jamiroquai's "Virtual Insanity", a new one from The Herbalizer as well as another selection from lounge specialist Club Des Belugas plus loads more... you know the score by now. If not... *tsk tsk*

Will be playing an early set from 11pm - 1am this Friday 23rd March for 35Hz @ Barbaablackchic. For guestlist, email your full name + your mates HERE.

On a personal note, Thursday's appointment could be another cross-road of my life. So here's hoping that everything goes smoothly and then I can finally begin on a new and challenging chapter of my life. *fingers & toes crossed*

A strange request was made at last Saturday's gig, asking if I could play my own tune called "Broken Angel". Am I missing something here? No offence but, what in blue hell? A full list of all finalized productions are listed on the right panel of this site under "Yukun Productions". Anyone see the said title there? Just checking to make double sure coz for a moment, I thought that either my memory's fucked or that I may need a pair of really thick spectacles. OK, I promise my next production, if I ever can be arsed to bother, will be entitled "Broken Hymen". How about that? No prizes for guessing what that tune would be about. Anyway, request(s) of whatever nature, even from friends, during gigs are super-uncool as far as clubbing etiquettes are concerned. Just to re-emphasize.

On a seperate note... I'm looking forward to 1 August 2007, when THE CURE finally makes their way here! Almost a decade too late but better late than never. I just hope for fuck's sake that they do not sing any of their current material from the past 3 years coz those really suck. Just do a greatest hits set and everyone will be more than overjoyed. Kai... do you read this?
