Midweek mayhem

Checked-out the opening of Oosh at Dempsey Road. Very neat place. Nice deco and laidback vibe. Lots of potential, if you ask me. But almost one half of the evening was ruined by a horrendous "UK" deejay who not only had a really bad selection of music, he can't mix to save his life. From rare grooves to Michael Jackson to Armand Van Helden. All over the bloody shop. Eclectism at it's possible worst. I wonder how some people can actually have the nerve to call themselves deejays when they play music like an iPod on shuffle mode. OMFG!
I'm not prejudice. Even others shared the same thoughts as I did. As I was walking pass this bunch of women, I overhead one of them saying, "this DJ is really awful! Really rojak, lah!"
P@t took over at 10.30pm and completely turned up the dial back onto proper mode with some wicked electro anthems and bright house tunes. Local 1 - Foreigner 0. Word! As usual, he was at his playful best. Properly boozed up and rocking it. Yes, he tweaked his nipples again. Wahahahahahaha! Officially, we've all become electro whores.
Had a couple of drinks. What the hell vodka were they serving? Both Razaq and myself was buzzing after a few drinks. Buzzing in the most awkward way. Never ever drink any brand of alcohol that you can't identify.
And I swore I saw someone that looks exactly like someone I know. Okay, maybe I'm hallucinating. Sorry, Razaq. Sorry for using you as a human shield. But I swear... nevermind :p
Speaking of which, Razaq just started a new fashion trend of wearing his T-shirt inside out, with the label in front. Heeeee! Anyway, it was a great night of laughs. "AUNTIE!!!"
Sleepy right now. Yawning like the last day on earth. Help!
p/s : I heard Christopher Lawrence - Gatecrasher : Live In Moscow. By the 2nd track of the first disc, I was...

Don't ask why. He's a great DJ but the music is really really jaded and too formula-tedious. Doesn't excite me one bit anymore. Hoo-hum!
