Does this look kind of cool? It certainly isn't because even if you master it eventually, you'll still have none of the skills a regular DJs has because this game has NOTHING TO DO with the artform. Best case scenerio, you'll be slightly better than Tiesto or David Guetta. Then again, if you actually brought this along to a club to hook it up, you deserve to have "KING NOOB" tattoo-ed on your forehead!

You see, if you're really thinking of getting into DJing, the amount you spend on this stupid game would actually get you a decent actual "economy" DJ setup. Don't get me wrong. Video games are great for stress release, time wasting, minor mind exercise and in some cases, getting you laid. But this? Guitar Hero was bad. This just takes the cake. What next? Evangelist Hero? How to be religious and yet be a complete liar... and still make shit loads of money.

Sure, I'm Gen X but I really don't understand the point of this. Really! Whatever happened to good old-fashioned "shoot 'em up" or Mario Bros or a PROPER simulator game?

It's not that I don't embrace new ideas and technology advancements. Some things are just fucking pointless or redundant! Why I don't Twitter? For fuck do I want to tell everyone everything that I do or where I'm at right now? I don't own an iPad, not because it's useless; but for the simple fact that I've no use for it. For the record, I don't have a DJ setup at home either... simply because it's the last thing I want to see when I'm home.

I'm not denying the cause behind it and their bid in trying to help the victims of the recent Haiti earthquake... and most of us will also be oblivious to the fact that the money raised is likely to finance it's next political violence. What? Didn't the Band Aid fiasco teach you anything? Most of the money went to the militia and their corrupted officials. OK, politics... never end argument. Honestly, this "new" version sound like utter shit as compared to the original. I'm sorry, but the fact remains that today's pop stars are "stars" because of their looks and not their vocal abilities. Maybe that's why I don't know most of them and who the fuck's in it. I can name every single artist of the original. The new one? Only a handful. And what's with the fucking R&B voice decorder "singers" or the hip hop "act-like-gangstas" rappers? I've visited Japan twice and both times, I fell in love with the culture and the manic way of life. And because of the limited time and high dedication towards excellence in work, the Japanese have many time-saving innovations that will not see the light of day in other countries, as it would only take away more jobs.

One such invention of theirs is the vending machine and the variety of things it dispenses. From cigarettes to magazine, from toys to frozen food, from noodles to designer coffee...

The saying is true about "one being born every minute". One idiot, that is. Recently, another fly-by-night promoter attempted yet another failed venture. The event, boasting a has-been international brand and a DJ line-up that would only interest the uninitiated, clashed with an event I was organizing.

To be completely honest, I was the brand's ex-ambassador and I certainly know that it's heydays are gone. It no longer represented today's Trance scene. It's just a sad excuse to squeeze money out of clueless punters. So was I worried? No... because at the end of the day, I know I'm going to say...

Whatever I predicted happened. Bad set-up due to inexperience. Mediocre draw due to a pathetic DJ line-up. Untested venue. Which all led to the inevitable loss of a huge sum of money. Want our opinion of what went wrong? EVERYTHING and the lack of MARKET RESEARCH. Apparently, God wasn't on their side after all.

Funny thing is that those punters that paid money to attend, despite the disappointing turn-out and bad audio incident, they tried to console themselves by saying, "it ain't THAT bad because the transport logistic was very good... and I took pictures with the DJs."

Say what you want. Elsewhere, we were making history and ushering in 2010 in memorable style. So do you trust US in what we do, or some cracker-jack that has no track record whatsoever? And do you want me to repeat myself again... I TOLD YOU SO!

So it's 2010 and the anticipation lies in the opening of the two Integrated Resorts. OK, lets be honest and call it what it's meant to be. CASINOS. Do you really care if both of which have countless restaurants, bars, shopping malls, cineplex and the usual crap that's ALREADY AVAILABLE at every bloody corner you turn? Besides the theme park at Resort World, everyone else is just interested to throw their lives away at the casino gaming tables. Sorry if I seem negative but I work in the casino management line and for every 10 people I meet, 8 will not succeed in making money; especially when they don't have some kind of play system to adopt.

End of the day, the HOUSE always wins.

Anyway back to the rant. Due to the excitement of the upcoming opening at Resort World and the predictable sudden influx of visitors, now Sentosa wants to increase the entrance fee into the island... apparently to encourage people to take public transport instead of driving in. The problem lies with the infrastructure of the island. The island has more than enough space to make wider roads. They fuck-up their initial development and refuse to remedy it despite one of the IRs being situation on it. So in order to solve the traffic problem? Increase cover charge. Sounds pretty familiar. 101 in problem solving, Singapore style.

And from insider source, they are also intended to increase the entry fee via monorail from the usual $3 to $5... once again, "to cope with the heavy human traffic". Seriously, what the fuck? The reason Sentosa has been a white elephant in the first place... is the stupid transport system within the island and the pointless entrance charge. How many bloody attractions have come and gone on that island?

Personally, if I was running Sentosa, I wouldn't care if it was flooded with people. More is always better than some. That's the whole idea of trying to put the IR there in the first place, right? And now they want to curb car / human traffic. That makes as much cock sense as... the four Banglahs groping the Thai transvestite incident.

Hello, just admit that you (Sentosa) just want to make more money out of these (hidden) charges. You know it, I know it. So stop beating around the bush. Not every Singaporean is a stupid as you think we are.

Thankfully, I'll have NOTHING to do with Resort World, Sentosa and whatever upcoming idiotic bureaucracy that is to follow. I await April's opening date for...

As we mourn and grief for the dearly departed, we also take account how the person has lived her life; and how she's influenced and affected our lives in her own special ways. We look at her life and how she lived it. My grand aunt lived a full life till the very last day. She loved her family and everyone around her. Even when she was diagnosed with heart problems, she continued her loving duties as a nanny for her youngest grand niece and nephew.

Death is but an end of one journey and a start of another. Death is a point in life whereby we the living have to pause and to reflect. How have we lived our lives thus far? Have we cared enough for our loved ones? Have we cared for ourselves, enough to ensure that we get to live our lives to the fullest possible? We take things for granted and forget how fragile life is. And we pray never to live a life of regrets.

All of us will remember Aunty Lily for her ever jovial personality, her love for mahjong, the hairdressing salons and for stuffing us with her home-cook meals. She lived the life she wanted and at the same token, she put time aside to care for everyone else. She was a beautiful human being with a caring heart. She was not only a mother, a sister, an aunty; she was an inspiration. We take in comfort that she's gone to a better place, rid of earthly burdens and pain. And we look forward to the day we are all united once again.

We'll miss you, Aunty Lily. In our thoughts and hearts, the legacy of your life will live on through generations ahead. Enjoy your much deserved eternal rest and peace.

As we draw closer to yet another year, I'm sure many will agree that it's been eventful in every way possible. And I'm equally sure that it wasn't plain sailing for the past 11 months or so for everyone. That's life. Everyday is a winding road and not everyday is a Sunday.

Sure we will have good times. There will be bad times as well. But what makes us different from everyone else? It's how we handle the downside of life. Of course it's always easier said than done. Unless we walk in the other person's shoes, we won't know how BAD they're having it. But sure as things go down, they have to eventually come up (and vice versa).

For me, it's been a year of untimely deaths (of friends, relatives and loved ones), work and personal health issues. I've just lost my favourite grand Aunt this week. There are depressing / frustrating stuff that I'm still facing but those are personal battles I have to face myself. It has not entirely been a good year for me but neither has it been THAT bad a year. There were precious little moments that I'll remember for the rest of my life.

And in all honesty, it's no walk in the park whenever tribulations comes our way. No one said life would be easy. But if we don't fight to survive and we give up the struggle, we'll never know what living is.

Just today, I had an awful day at work. But at the end of the day, because I reached out and helped a fellow human being, I went home feeling great. The seas were exceptional choppy and rough today. Even the most iron-stomached person got seasick. And as I was returning home at the jetty, I saw an elderly woman hyperventilating and looking very pale. She was struggling to walk straight. Her equally elderly husband was next to her. I asked her what's wrong and from the way she replied, it was obviously seasickness and a mild panic attack. It didn't helped that she had a pacemaker. I helped calm her down and taught her to do some basic breathing exercises in order to regulate her breathing rhythms. She was fine after doing so. Both of them keep thanking me and wanting to buy me supper. I obligingly declined. As I walked away, she said, "thank you for having such a kind soul."

To all the socially ungraceful Singaporean heartlanders that walked them by and giving her that "what the fuck" look... I'm truly ashamed to be Singaporean.

It was a shitty day, and there was nothing I could do about it. But because of this simple act of kindness, I don't feel so shitty after all. And I know for a fact that out there right now, there is this old lady who has regain a glimmer of hope for the human race.

So for whatever reasons, your live is not going your way...

Due to my work commitments, I've hardly any time to keep this blog going. I know, don't sigh... what to do? Anyway, I thought that since there's many ardent readers here, I'll provide a brief public service to furnish some of you who not familiar with some urban slang :

WHAT IS A COCKBLOCK? You've heard it many times before. So what is it? To COCKBLOCK is to prevent another person, intentionally or inadvertently, from having sexual intercourse with a third party. A cockblock or cockblocker is a person who engages in such obstruction or intervention.

Some of you might just be guilty of it for whatever reason. It takes skill to be a Jedi cockblocker. I'm still learning... just to irritate the hell out of some people I know.

Mindy Lawton, a 34-year-old waitress, claims to have had a year-long affair with Tiger Woods filled with regular sex in a range of locations. The Daily Mail writes that the pair met in the summer of 2006 at a diner where Lawton worked.

According to Lawton, Woods is quite the lover. He is "very well endowed" and "knows his way around the bedroom. On a scale of ten I would give him 12," she tells News of the World. Lawton's sister, Lynn, adds that Mindy described their sex as "extremely good."

Woods was fond of sleeping with her in numerous locations -- from parking lots to the shower to the garage -- but the golfer refused to have sex in his bedroom.

One wonders why most Singaporeans cannot think out-of-the-box. The answer is plain simple. Most of them are just born with a one-track mind. Here's what happened this morning at work during lunch...

A typical Singapore heartlander "auntie" was in the buffet line, trying to cook her ALREADY cooked noodles in a cauldron of lukewarm water. I asked her how long do the rest of us have to wait for her to finish and she replied, "30 minutes."

"WHAT?"
"The waiter said the water not boiling yet and must wait 30 minutes."
"So you're just going to let your noodles soak in the water of 30 minutes?"
"Yah lah! Not boiling how to cook?"
"But it's already cook?!!"
"I want to make sure, can?"
"Auntie, tell you what, can you let me go first, I'll take 10 seconds."
"But the water not boiling!"
"I know, you let me go first, I'll show you."

She removes her noodles out of the scoop net that was sitting in the cauldron of slightly warm water. I take the scoop net, empty my noodles into it, walk the NEXT cauldron of boiling chicken broth and proceed to warm-up the noodles. She looks at me in disbelief and with a gaping mouth.

What? Did I do wrong? Nobody said we couldn't warm up the noodles with the broth. Stupid woman, never remember what Phua Chu Kang said... "use your brain!"

Many have asked why throughout my career as a DJ, I've refused to play a number of tunes, regardless if they were played by everyone else or they were the biggest hits in the world or whether it's played on any of those commercialized Trance shows (i.e. ASOT & TATW). I'm musically-trained (piano), so I tend to be very picky with the tunes I put into my playlist. There's a lot of things I consider... i.e. structure, melody, vocal content (if any), proper chord progressions and etc. And if it sounds like something I can personally cook up, given some decent studio time, then it's something I'd not play. So stuff that you do hear me dish out are the tunes that caught my attention from many angles.

Take the latest Dash Berlin single ("Waiting" for example. When I received the album promo, beside already-known singles... album cut stood up for me. Arguably, the synth riffs are quite over-used... but the lyrical direction of female melancholy brought back the original concept of early-Trance.

Within a span of weeks after the promo was circulated, the buzz word amongst the tastemakers was that Dash Berlin brought back memories of days gone by and that "Waiting" should be made as a single... and it soon found it's way into the playlists of many.

It's always easier to write a non-vocal track because you need not bother yourself with the discipline of verse / bridge / chorus construction. More ever, it's always harder to write a song. And the secret behind every great vocal electronic track? It's the SONG itself. Strip away the walls of sound... leave the vocals naked with minimal instrumentation... and if it stands out acoustically, then it's a gem of genuine song writing...

And true to that understanding and belief, the acoustic version of "Waiting" showcases the fragility of the lyrics without the barrage of distracting technology. I'm blown away eac time I watch this. And to be honest, the last time a vocal Trance track that actually gave me goosebumps was many years ago... BT's "Remember". That shows how many before this were so disposable despite being championed by the "big league" DJs.

So we are effectively one week into people getting withdrawal symptoms from last weekend's shindig. As much positivity was derived from Dazed Out, it draw some mediocre flack as well... from individuals that are either not part of it (or no longer) or didn't even come (because the club refuses to give them any further bottle discount outside of the said promotional price and etc.).

Everyone has an opinion, no doubt about it. They are entitled to it. But talk will always be talk. If you don't walk the talk, your talk sometimes become less significant than a dog's bark. Like I said to many before, I've been (together with previous and current working partners) doing this for the longest time ever... I certainly don't need opinions, views or suggestions from the LAY MAN. Sure, you may have tons to comment about the venues we work with... but bear in mind, they exist to please the majority. Likewise, I can't please everyone... and who we're pleasing right now suits us just fine. WE DON'T NEED THE WHINING MINORITY! So stop telling us how we should run our business and do our jobs (and what our playlist should be). I know that where we are right now... is the pinnacle plateau of our DJing careers in terms of the two brand nights we represent.

To put it simply, if you so damn smart...

... otherwise, SHADDUP!

It was one, if not, THE BEST Dazed Out thus far. We can't really say why it's grown into what it is today, accept that many elements falling into place and that it's been a long time coming. It was damn flattering for me to arrive at the club at 12.45am to see the FULL HOUSE sign in place. It was packed to the brim!

With the benchmarks clocked in... we do find pressure in pushing things further and further with each event we get involved in. But until things really need fixing, the ride thus far has been magical and very memorable. Things have peaked at the right time.

The fact that we encored with Dash Berlin's "Waiting" to massive reaction. It's always encouraging to know that every now and then, we can get away with something as new as this... and then have the punters chant "NYE! NYE!" as we closed the night.

Firstly before I begin, let me set the record straight that I'm not racist and regardless of race, I tell it like it is. I don't make up the stereotypes. You can conclude otherwise for all I care.

As DJs, we find it downright irritating and disrespectful for patrons to request for songs and etc. It's like telling us "how to do our jobs". Why not bring your own iPod / mp3 player to the clubs, plug into your favourite playlist and stop bothering us? You don't see us going to you to tell you how to do YOUR jobs. Do you? And we certainly don't look like JUKEBOXES. Even if we do like one, you actually have to put money into it before you can make your selection. So instead of shoving your ugly Blackberry into our faces with your dumb song request, try writing on a note and attaching a $50 bill to it... that's an incentive we might not say no to. Depending on what crap you're asking for.

If that's bad, it's not as hilarious as WHITE people, who in the first place don't have a sense of rhythm. EIGHT out of TEN white folks that come up to request for songs are either deaf or retarded. Just last night at some high-end champagne party, a bunch of idiots came up to ask for ABBA, Motown or "something I can dance to".

When I replied I have none. The bitch goes into a lecture about "as a DJ, you're suppose to play music to please the dancefloor?"

My swift comeback... "What dancefloor? This is a bar."

She tried retaliating... "You've a laptop, you can download and play for us!"

Woman, you're messing with the wrong person and you don't want to get into a debate with me.

"My laptop is not internet enabled and it's strictly used to DJing purposes. More ever, the software I'm using does not accept any mp3 format. Only AIFF or WAV sound files can be processed."

Just when you think she got served... "OK, do you have any country music then? For line-dancing."

The Ugly Truth About Singaporeans!

Don't let the media or the Government fool you into thinking that this country (and it's foreign invaders) is gracious and law obiding. Everyone will try to get away with "murder" if given the opportunity. Socially, this country is utter shit. A simple thing like getting people to queue orderly is a feat that God has given up a long time ago.

You see it everyday. Some people will just adopt ignorance and be oblivious to everything else... and sneakily (or blatantly) cut the queue. At the subway, at bus stops, at food court... even if there are queue polls to "guide"... there will always be one or two who will be "blind". I see it everyday too, on my way to work at Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal... especially Fridays when there's an excessive amount of travelers to Bintan and Batam. And there's always this particular breed of "Singaporean Aunties" as well as mainland Chinese "talents", who will fake ignorance... walk "aimlessly" and then before you can blink your eye, they've managed to sneak in front of the queue.

Well, I've had it. If no one is going to say a thing, I WILL! Which is what I did to one particular such character on Friday. As she was wavering towards the front of the queue, I shouted, "Hello! Lao (old) Auntie with red top, don't cut queue, ok?"

She pretended to be deaf so I walked towards her and tapped her on the shoulders and repeated what I said.

She replied, "oh, this is the front of the queue? I thought it was the back."

"Hello, Auntie. Want to tell lies, please try harder, can? You think we stupid is it?"

Then her husband came and ask why I'm making a fuss when the rest of the people are not. My reply to him?

Wrong day, wrong person to try and take advantage of.

Taking notes from my past and current neighbours; as well as from encounters and incidents that I've witnessed... I conclude that a typical Singapore heartlander is :

1. Chinese educated; but possesses a superb command of broken English (Singlish).
i.e. "Later we go sit BUTT and go see PICTURE."
(meaning, to take the BUS to the cinema)

2. Self-centered, noisy and only cares about others for the sake of gossiping. i.e. "What happen to Ah Seng? He owe Ah Long money, ah? Why like that?"

3. Stupid and ignorant. Believes everything the Government and media tells them. i.e. "Must vote them leh, then got upgrading mah!"

4. Thinks Microsoft is better than Mac OS. (see no. 3)
i.e. "School and office use Windows, leh. If no good, why they use, neh?

5. Pretends to queue but will cut the line when the opportunity raises... especially when blindsiding and hijacking a taxi from you on the roads.

6. Reserves seats EVERYWHERE will a cheap tissue paper packet... including onboard ferries to Batam / Bintan / Desaru. I hate to tell them but on international waters, Singapore practices "tak pakai".

7. Subscribes to the stereotype art-of-Singapore-living. Study, get job, find partner, marriage, buy HDB flat, fuck, have babies, send kids to study, retire and work part-time at McDonalds, die in old folks home in Johor Bahru.

8. Sees western values as evil and alienating. i.e. free speech, democracy and promiscuity.

9. Loves his / her cellphone ringtone... although others might find it fucking irritating. (see No. 2)

10. Lies a lot; especially to their retarded kids. i.e. "You better behave or else policeman catch you!"

I could go on to at least 100. I just loathe them although I stay in a public housing. They are every-fucking-where!!! Two of the worst are my left and right neighbours. One has demonic kids that rollerblade along the corridor. The other burns incense that smell like Mumbai and burns prayer papers along the corridor. My wish this Christmas? The kids rollerblading, colliding into the burning bin and setting themselves on fire along the corridor... and me coming to their aid, with kerosene (thinking that it's water).

This past week, two incidents which is more than enough to convince me not to subscribe to the "gracious society" train of thought that the government has been selling all the while.

Midweek, while boarding the ferry on the way to work... some late 50-plus year old "ah soh" cuts the queue from behind me and rushing into my path. Being blind-sided by her, I collided into her. Instead of saying sorry (since it was her that came from behind), she went on to scold me for not looking where I was walking and went on to insult my upbringing and etc.

Wrong person to tick off, bitch! I set the record straight verbally... "Just because you're OLD doesn't gave you the fucking right to cut queue or expect people to give in to you, especially when you're clearly in the wrong."

She let out a string of vulgarities at me.

Like I said, wrong person to be fucking with, stupid old hag!

I blocked her path and asked her what she's going to do about it. Seriously, what kind of mentality do most of these retarded Singaporeans have?

Second incident... yesterday night while having dinner out at a steamboat eatery. Most of the tables are TWO-seaters and practically every table is taken. An unkle / auntie couple next to us were eating and gets a phonecall from their daughter, saying that she'll be joining them. Go figure, they're in a TWO-seater table and yet they still agree to have their daughter join them. 5 minutes into the wait, reality dawned upon them that the place is running at FULL HOUSE capacity and due to the lack of space, there is NO WAY to include another chair just for their "precious daughter". The auntie begins to tell her husband... hinting at my table may be done soon, or maybe he can ask me to shift elsewhere so as to accommodate them. Thankfully, the unkle did not ask me... otherwise I'll reply, "DO I LOOK LIKE I CARE?"

I can't be arsed to be nice to people. It's just pointless. SELF is more important! Don't be stupid enough to be "gracious" and then let the rest of the citizens and "foreign talent" climb all over you head to shit.

Back in the late 90s when I was doing gigs at the defunct underground club called Nox (Mohammad Sultan Road), I was interviewed by an online portal. I was asked what I think of classical music. I replied that Trance is today's closest ancestor to classical music and that real Trance lovers will appreciate the identical elements in both genres. The climatic build-ups, the progression of various elements being introduced, the breakdown, the crescendo and etc. No other form of modern electronic music comes close to that. Not House music, not Tehno, not Tech House, not Minimal, and most certainly not the flashy Nu Rave / Indie Disco either.

Classical music has been around for the longest time since and Trance (in it's many forms) since it's arrival in the mid-90s has become perhaps one of the most sustaining and lucrative music genres in the electronica world. Not surprising. Of course there's good Trance and bad Trance. Nonetheless, it's around for well over more than a decade and is still gaining momentum with each year, whilst so many other forms of electronic music have come and gone.

Recently, one of my greatest inspiration merge the two forms into an impressive concert. Truly stunning if you understood the complexity and discipline of classical music and how everything is done "LIVE" as compared to the so-called concerts of Armin and Tiesto where everything is mimed with a full-playback.

The promoter that booked him ought to be castrated for being an "ignoranus" that's just cashing in on BIG names without any thought for QUALITY. So what Underworld's performing? Ain't the same without Darren Emerson. Anyways, been there, done it. Caught them (the original line-up) in Glastonbury. And that's good enough to last me a lifetime.

Which leads me to the COCK OF THE YEAR... someone who for some strange unmentionable reasons, always has something to say about the venues we use to host our brand nights (Dazed Out + Progressions). It's always complains about service. If not, it's the drink prices. Otherwise, it's the location of the chosen venue. There's just no pleasing this wanker.

"Can you hold you events elsewhere?" he asked.

Can. In your house? At your neighbourhood coffee shop? Or better still. Since you've always got something to say and complain about the venues, why not you put your money where your mouth is and open your own club. Then we talk. When P@t dropped "White Sands" last Saturday... it was the best audience response I've seen locally. We've always been huge fans of Sunlounger (aka DJ Shah), and we've plugged music from his "Magic Island" label quite faithfully. You know what would be amazing? Us at a beach rave. Sunset. I get it every year around this time... without fail. It's been consecutively for FOUR years in a roll. And it's not that I don't watch what I eat. I don't touch any red meat or any uncooked food. I don't eat cold leftovers. I don't really like junkfood either. And yet I get it each year... in the most severe scenerio possible.

Vomiting nothing but your bile juices is downright unbearable. And trying to hydrate one's self well both ends are expelling liquids is damn frustrating. The doctor says I have a very weak stomach, prone to bacterial and viral infection. Great! I won't eat now, then. Save me all the pain and suffering.

I'm heading back to bed. My cellphone's off so stop bugging about the fucking guestlist for tomorrow. The list is closed. And stop telling me how this / that club should lower their drink prices in lieu of market condition and blah blah blah. So clever, put your money where your fat mouth is and open your own club!!!

I received an email from one of the DJs that I use to slot in quite regularly for past events but I no longer do so for the recent year or so. He was asking me why I no longer use him and etc.

Well... to be completely honest, it's nothing personal. It's just business. I'm no longer doing this because I have a passion for it. It's more of reaping in the years of hardwork and struggle. Everything we do now is calculated and catered to the punter's demands.

Thus we take public feedback and comments very seriously. If they don't like you... then there's no point in putting you on the roster. It just doesn't make any economic sense whatsoever.

Like I said... it's not a personal choice. Some people are cut out for it. Some are not, no matter how technically good they are. Move on, dude. Stop harbouring!!! It's not that you were not given the opportunity... if you think about it, you kind of screw yourself over.

A couple of important things I need to REINFORCE today based on what happened to me today. I was supposed to go for my health screening this morning at Hougang Polyclinic. At the entrance, I was asked if I had any sickness and etc. I've been having this dry cough (i.e. no phlegm) for several days so I declared it... thinking that honesty was the best policy (NOT!). My temperature was taken (35.8 normal) and I was directed to the "RED STICKER" area... people with flu symptoms.

The INDIAN admin woman took my appointment card and immediately say, "Sorry, you got cough, cannot go for health screening."

Let me set the record straight. I'm not racist against the darker skin but WHY are most of them so dense? You judge for yourself...

"Huh? I've a dry cough. No phlegm. I don't have flu."
"Sorry sir, got cough, cannot go for health screening."
"Err... is that the doctor's instruction or your own diagnosis?"
"Sir, you're sick, so cannot go into the clinic."
"What? First of all I'm not sick."
"Sir, don't be agitated."

HOW NOT TO BE ANGRY when you're talking to someone who doesn't have a fucking brain at all? She's only an administrative staff and she's playing doctor! Anyway...

I know everyone works within guidelines and instructions... but to ask me to come back again JUST TO MAKE ANOTHER APPOINTMENT?

Lesson learnt. Never be honest. Lie if you must. The truth gets you nowhere. Most people can't HANDLE THE TRUTH! So lying is the way to go. You're happy, and the other people are happy... as long as they hear what they WANT TO HEAR.

This world is truly fucked when we have idiots running it. Nowadays, even drinking beer will get you caned in some countries... no thanks to some over zealous "religious" leaders. That's why I say religion man-made and it's pointless. Atheism is the way to go.

And for those that use the Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal on a regular basis, you'll noticed that the biometric passport clearance system is ALWAYS down. Half the time, the officer is trying to reboot the system without any success. Excuse, numb nuts... it's running on Windows XP OS, and the screen is showing the "blue screen of death". No matter how many times you reboot, it's not going to get you anywhere. Instead of wasting everyone's time, perhaps you can consider calling for technical support? I know you Indian, but not all Indians are IT experts. You're just a low-rank immigration officer. Wake up your damn idea!
